Babies Eating Lemons

May 6, 2008 at 1:21 am

I’m on YouTube a LOT and come across some random stuff. Like, for instance, “Babies Eating Lemons”:

Click here to watch more babies eating lemons, or click here to watch a cat eating a sour apple lollypop. Yeah, it’s random. I know. Whatever. Fight me.

For your consideration: An unconventional infographic

May 2, 2008 at 1:37 am

I worked on this infographic for class and want to put it to my international (hah) audience to see what you think.

I was inspired by Charles Joseph Minard’s iconic graph/map of Napoleon’s Russian Campaign of 1812.

So take a look, and tell me your thoughts. Constructive criticism = awesome.

National Enquirer as Esquire

This is just too good not to post:

I’m addicted to Esquire. Without a doubt the best designed magazine out there right now in my opinion. Not to mention excellent content.

Check out their cover gallery for 75 years of why I think they’re brilliant designers.

And go here for more ’shopped covers.

Update: Mizzou Student SND Judging

April 15, 2008 at 2:33 pm

The results are in! I got confused– it’s the online winners that aren’t being announced until the 21st..

Congrats to all the non-daily winners that were posted a little while ago! Still waiting on the daily winners, but congrats in advance.

If you’re a winner, don’t forgot to upload your winning entries to the Mizzou SND Flickr. Username is ssnd.missouri@yahoo.com and password is design.

Now just waiting for the results of the Michigan State contest, which took place last week. Cheryl Pell, who is in charge of that contest, says the results should be available in a few days.
